Objective
To reflect on the effects of technological advancement, operational efficiency, and fragmentation within the healthcare system on the doctor-patient relationship, as well as on the very identity of healthcare professionals.From a philosophical perspective, the discussion will draw on concepts from the ethics of care, the phenomenology of the body, otherness, and human dignity, inviting participants to rethink the role of physicians and healthcare professionals—not merely as executors of procedures, but as moral agents engaged in a dialogical and ethical relationship with the suffering other.Target Audience
